Situated in Llandeilo 15 - 20 minutes drive from
Ammanford, Dinefwr Castle is
one of the most complete monuments in the
borough.

Sited in the National Park the walks
around the countryside are stunning.

Welsh Heritage have made easy parking
mapped the area in simple to use
guide book.

The walks are graded in terms of
difficulty and colour coded for ease.

Access in and around the castle makes this
a wonderful day out. archer slits in the walls
enable you  to image what it must have been
to defend this formidable stronghold.

Visitors are free to roam the castle on
the battlements, up the towers through
the narrow steep walkways and
staircases.

Views from  the top of the turrets make
it easy for you to see why this castle at
this location.

building can only be gained by visiting. Certainly
the photographs do not do it justice.
