Ammanford Town is situated in the
Swansea Valley some
12 miles North East of Swansea. Once famous for it's industrious
mining links the town now boasts a rural community with mining
scaled down to contributing only a small part to the employment
of the area. Ammanford lays host to some 35,000 people living in
outlying towns and villages throughout the valley.
Saron, Betws, Garnant, Gwaun Cae Gurwen, to name but a few.

With its picturesque mountainous scenery
and the coast just 6 miles away. Ammanford has everything for an
enjoyable stay.
The main M4 Motorway trunk road gives direct transport links to
London (210 miles). the average car journey being 3.5 hours.

New addition to Ammanford, the Three Boars.
Ammanford Town's 'mascot' sited on the approach road into the

The river side walk at Betws clean
pleasant and tranquil, sadly it stops abruptly some
250m further down at the fence to Tescos.
